Mgr. Michal Mazel graduated from the Faculty of Law and Faculty of Arts of the Masaryk University in Brno. He started as a legal trainee at the prosecution. Mr. Mazel worked as a high government official in the area of security policy at the Ministry of Interior and Ministry of Defense for 11 years. From 2009 to 2010, he was adviser to the Minister of the Interior, from 2010 to 2011 he was member of the Legislative Council. Mr. Mazel also served as an expert witness in the field of social sciences, primarily focusing on extremism. He is the owner of the law office of a wide range of legal sector since 2010. The law office provides legal assistance to victims of crime and discrimination, within the pro bono program. Mr. Mazel participates in the preparation of a series of laws in the field of criminal and administrative law. He also focuses on law of information and communication technologies, including the issue of cyber security.
